A Caring Ministry

by and through the Men's Ministries of

Langhorne United Methodist Church

Dr. Lloyd Gestoso, professor and dean of the School of Social Work at Cairn University, partners with community leaders to organize an addictions task force dedicated to combating the drug addiction epidemic in the lower area of Bucks County. The Lower Bucks Addiction Task Force, a newly formed branch of the Bucks County Heroin Prevention Outreach initiative, works in an area with alarming statistics relating to substance abuse and deaths caused by drug overdose, particularly heroin.

Our mission is to help all those affected by addiction by providing reliable and comprehensive resources, advice, tips and guides. There is hope and you are not alone on this journey to a successful recovery from addiction.

QuitAlcohol.com is an initiative with the Alcohol Abuse Counsel and a trained group of volunteers. Alcoholism is a widely spread disease and we feel that it is our public duty to educate folks around the world about the problem. Join us today and let’s take a stand. Let’s help Alcoholics recover once and for all.

Road to Freedom is a Christian drug rehab program in Florida made up of pastors, Christian addiction counselors, doctors and caring professionals who are committed to the rescue mission of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. We are passionate about providing a clinically sound and faith-based recovery program, ministering to the whole person through the whole Gospel. We accept and embrace all people.

Rx Dangers

In 2013 the Mayo Clinic found that nearly 70 percent of Americans take at least one prescription drug each month. The majority of medications are safe for consumption, but we believe in educating the public about thousands of prescription and over-the-counter medications, many of which have the potential to cause serious side effects. Our easy to navigate online database is constantly being updated with drug recall news, and provides comprehensive, unbiased information about serious side effects, complications, and interactions of commonly prescribed drugs.
