A Fellowship of Believers Reaching Out That All Might Know Christ
United Women in Faith Jennifer Kephart - President
Kathy DiGregorio - Vice President
Alice Stott- Treasurer
Bev Eick - Secretary
The United Women in Faith of Langhorne United Methodist Church form a community with the purpose of knowing God and experiencing freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ. They aim to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to broaden the understanding of mission through the global ministries of the church.
You do not need to be a member of our church or a United Methodist to participate or join our group.
The United Women in Faith gather on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall, from September through June. These meetings feature a social time with refreshments, music, devotions, and significant programs presented by members or guest speakers. The President conducts a brief business meeting. In June, a salad supper is held, inviting women from nearby churches as guests. For this popular and well-attended event, a distinguished guest speaker is arranged.
The primary mission of the UWiF is to engage in local and global missions. Additionally, they partake in a prayer shawl ministry, support their church with various projects, provide comfort items to the homeless at LUMC's monthly dinner, and decorate a Christmas tree with ornaments that hold cash donations for the Pastor's Discretionary Fund.
All Women and Men are invited to join our group.
