Advocates for Homeless & Those in Need (AHTN)

Shared Meals Ministry

The “Wheels to Meals” Mission provides transportation using AHTN buses for homeless guests and/or others in need to the shared meals provided by over 23 area houses of worship in Lower Bucks County. These “shared meals” are a mission of the houses of worship offering the meal.  AHTN transports the guests waiting at various stops in Lower Bucks County.

Pregnancy & Sexual Health Resource Centers

Acts as a positive change agent in the areas of human sexuality, family unity, and pregnancy; to provide women and girls along with their partners, practical assistance and positive alternatives to abortion; as well as to provide STD screening, STD support counseling, abstinence training/school-church programs, bereavement counseling, parenting classes, relationship counseling, family counseling, father’s program, GED, employment training, medical assistance, and referrals for housing and adoption.

Rescue Mission of Trenton

The Rescue Mission of Trenton provides the only Emergency Shelter in Mercer County, New Jersey, licensed by the Department of Community Affairs (DCA), serving single men and women. Vince’s Place (Addiction Services) is licensed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services, provides residential addiction treatment to homeless, indigent clients and those with specific legal issues. The belief in the intrinsic worth of each individual continues to motivate the Rescue Mission of Trenton to provide the highest quality care and to offer support, encouragement, and a sense of dignity to all who enter through its doors.
